STATEN ISLAND VS. TROPICAL RAINFORESTEST
The tropical rainforest experience's one type of season all year round. Staten Island experience's all four seasons in one year. On Staten Island you do not see half of the animals that you can see in the rainforest. But, when it is summer we also see insects such as butterflies and mosquitos. Since Staten Island has a cold season we cannot see the same plants that are in the tropical rainforest. We live in a more Temperate Forest biome. Also, since we are an island we are surrounded by an aquatic saltwater biome.
